Always thinking

Why do commercial air fresheners always have "floral" or "spice" or "spring rain" scents? I do like "citrus" and sometimes "pine", but I think a new line of scents is in order and I have some ideas:

  • cheeseburger hot pocket
  • campfire (I once had incense that did smell just right, but it was some unlabelled cones I found rolling around in the bottom of a box of other stuff and it's all burned up now)
  • pre-rain ("spring rain" never smells even a tiny bit like rain; I want that earth smell you get when it's fixing to storm)
  • butter-and-onion
  • coffee
  • fresh paper
