Last year we went to the same festival in North Carolina, but this time we persuaded my sister-in-law to come along since she's been learning to fiddle. She had a great time and so did I. She brought her three kids, so Victoria was beside herself with joy for the whole weekend. Brian's coworker--who originally told us about this thing--camped beside us as well with his family. Chris stayed home because this weekend was the prom and Jennifer stayed home because she was still stinging from the perceived betrayal of last year, when she thought we were taking her camping. (We were actually taking her camping at a bluegrass festival. Big difference, apparently.)
The weather was lovely, the music was excellent, it was just a perfect weekend. I think I got a little sunburn where my hair parts, poor me.
