It was snowing when we left Maryland Thursday morning. We got to San Diego early in the afternoon and drove straight to La Jolla and played on the beach a while.
The next day we took a bus to Rosarito and Puerto Nuevo. Oh yeah, before that happened, Victoria and I walked around downtown for a long time. It turns out that on this coast, I am a morning person. It feels odd. We saw a line wrapped around the NBC building. They were people hoping to be selected to be on the next season of The Apprentice.
Saturday was a spouses' luncheon. I am a spouse. It takes all day for spouses to lunch and if anyone tries to tell me that it takes fewer muscles to smile than to frown I will look upon that person with utter disdain for some time. I did get to scope out Coronado, though, so today we took the ferry over and played on the playground for a while, then went up to the Del Coronado Hotel to hang out on the beach. The day was perfect. Tonight we had to do a dinner thing, which went ok.
That's all so far. Nothing very exciting except for the beautiful weather.
