3 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
3/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter or margarine
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
1 large egg
1/3 cup molasses
4 oz (~1/3 package) each of white chocolate & butterscotch chips
DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Mix flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and salt.
3. Beat butter, sugar, egg and molasses. Gradually add flour mixture until well blended. Stir in chips. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
4. Bake for 11 minutes, cookies won't look very browned but they're done. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
