This is fun: I took myself to a movie today and enjoyed it immensely even though I do not recommend this film whole-heartedly unless you are about my age and grew up in about the same location because Ping Pong Summer is very specifically for people just like me. The acting and the plot work hard to out-clunk each other with a distinctly cringe-inducing Afterschool Special vibe

the visual appeal of a wryly nostalgic Ocean City will charm an ear-to-ear grin from start to finish. I felt like I was on vacation the whole time.
