Hello September

Christopher took another part of the CPA exam (he passed the first one, yay!) and got a haircut. I know this because he called to tell me. Jennifer is doing an AIDS walk but the donation link in their auto-email is broken. Victoria read Sam the Minuteman, practiced multiplication and division facts, and played with an eyedropper for what seemed like hours. Brian walked around the yard talking on his phone. I gave the background check lady my fingerprints again. I telephoned a bunch of offices to verify numbers and addresses for the updated neighborhood directory.

I think I'm remembering why it is that I don't post daily.

Don't sweat it. With so much weird stuff going on in the world, it's vitally important to the continuity of the warp and weft of the fabric of society, yea the very foundations of civilization upon this planet, that the day to day activities of a normal life be thoroughly documented. If nothing else, it reassures those of us living in the outer fringes of the Mandlebrot Set of angst and chaos that a calmer, saner mode of existence is, in fact, possible, if not necessarily prevalent at present. So rock on, o bastion of everyday occurrences! :-)

I liked this post! It's so full of mystery and intrigue. I love making up stories to answer all the questions I have about it. Why was Victoria playing with an eyedropper? My guess is it was the science portion of a homeschooling activity. Who was Brian talking to on his phone? Why are you having a background check done? The possible stories to answer those two questions are too numerous to write. Anyway, the point is that I always enjoy reading your blog entries.
