The mold is gone. The walls have dried. Stains are blocked. I bought too much Kilz2. I'm pretty sure The Home Depot will let me return the unopened second bucket.

I'm trying to decide what to do about this afternoon. Victoria has a class from 12-4 right near the convention center, which is about 20 minutes away from home. Should I drive back here and paint or stay down there and goof around? I am leaning toward the goof-around option. I have to remember to charge my stupid phone battery because my stupid phone is also my stupid clock. I will go do that right now.

Done.

Hey, I forgot to tell you about my favorite holiday moment, which was on Christmas day. I came downstairs and Brian was in a chair reading the book about water I figured he'd like and Victoria was reading the Ivy & Bean book I figured she'd like. They liked them; I love being right.

Ivy and Bean is a favorite around here as well. She also wrote a book for slightly older readers called The Magic Half that I really enjoyed--I read it myself because neither Ivy or Miranda were interested.

[Sources indicate it takes roughly 95,000 BTU/h to heat a 2,000-square-foot house in New England. Assume an average winter temperature of 32, and that typical 'room temperature is 72. A +1/40 delta should be sufficient. Convert BTU to claories...]
