So, so, so very long ago I had my first salaried job with paid vacation and everything. We got the day after Thanksgiving off and I decided that this would be a great time to do some shopping. I was sort of proud of myself for coming up with this neat idea. I drove down to Potomac Mills and was SHOCKED to find no parking, none, available in the main lot. We (I brought Jennifer, she was two years old) had to park across the street at some auxiliary shopping center. Even so, I was not prepared for the crushing crowd in the mall. I was maybe forty yards from the entrance when I decided to cut my losses. I turned around and went home and haven't shopped on that day since ... until today! Yep, I just had to have new boots. More accurately, my car's power steering rack and pinion did. Yippee.
