Cow Appreciation Day

Total success: everyone got free lunches. I have never been to Chick-fil-A before; the food was ok, but just ok. The price was right, however, and we got to stroll through the student union dressed like cows.

I have a friend at work who loves cows like I love cats. He has a cow costume & was going to wear it to Chick-fil-a today, and I was thinking about borrowing a costume from another cow-loving friend and join him. But then we remembered that it was proposal week, and our plans went up in smoke. But I'm glad you had a successful venture!

I guess more anatomically accurate udders would just be disturbing.

Ours were distubing enough--the picture does not convey fine detail. First Victoria tried to reposition hers to her crotch, which sent Christopher into a paroxysm of sorts. I convinced her that while this might seem more accurate, it would also be unseemly. Then she kept yanking at her teats and exclaiming that she was milking herself. We used inflated disposable gloves with a digit turned inside and tied off.

There must be some commercial source of cow costumes with more anatomically correct udders, because I've seen such things more than once. And you're right ... they're disturbing.
