Weekends are too short

Victoria went to the doctor's on Friday because she woke up with a fever and a cough (and because Brian was home to take her). The doctor said it was nothing to worry about and sent them away with a sackful of Robitussin samples. She slept in on Saturday, but Jennifer and I went on the walk, which turned out to be for the homeless rather than the hungry although the two groups likely have members in common. This walk was excellent! They had performers stationed along the route so we got to hear snippets from a barbershop quartet, a lone bagpiper, a mariachi band, and plenty more. Brian and Victoria met us at the end and we visited the Air & Space museum since it was steps away. Lockheed Martin was unaware of Fannie Mae's sponsored walk; they were sponsoring a space day in the museum. Victoria made an extraterrestrial at one station and then after Brian and Jennifer left to watch the 3-D moon movie we found the Lego table, which kept her busy for a long time. That was it for fun stuff, the rest of the weekend was all cleaning out the house. I am still waiting to see the light at the end of this tunnel!

Sorry to read that Victoria was ill, but I'm glad that she rebounded enough to have a good time in D.C. Your kids are just so cute!

How did you get the image to nestle next to the text?

It's a table with one row, two columns. It looks ok unless someone has a very narrow reading column.
